ED arrests Congress MLA, ex-excise minister, in Chhattisgarh in ‘liquor scam’

Chhattisgarh Congress legislator Kawasi Lakhma was arrested by the ED in connection to a liquor scam during his tenure as excise minister. He is accused of receiving substantial monthly payments from a liquor cartel, with testimonies suggesting he received around Rs 72 crore.
