Breaking off relationship or refusing to marry not abetment of suicide: HC

The Nagpur bench of Bombay High Court has cleared Vaibhav Mawale of charges of abetment of suicide following his ex-partner's death by suicide. The court found no proximate connection between his refusal to marry her and her decision to take her life, dismissing any criminal liability.
