Caste survey: Backward classes Telangana's largest group at 46.25%

A recent caste survey in Telangana reveals that Backward Classes (BC) make up 56.33% of the state's population, including BCs among minorities. Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes constitute 17.43% and 10.45% respectively. The comprehensive and unprecedented survey was conducted across 1.12 crore households.
