Uttarakhand HC raps bank for opening 86-year-old’s locker without nod

The Uttarakhand high court has demanded clarification from Bank of Baroda regarding the rules permitting them to open a customer's locker without consent. This follows a complaint by Sushila Devi, an 86-year-old, alleging her locker was opened and jewellery removed in 2022. Her son, Anoop Kumar, discovered the forced entry in 2024.
