PhD scholar posing as ‘Film director’ scams women seeking roles

Rahul Dev, a highly educated individual with a master's in political science and pursuing a PhD, resorted to crime after his music video venture failed. He posed as a film director, deceiving 17 women with false promises of music video roles, extorting money for fake flight bookings to Mumbai auditions.
