Thursday, 15 May 2025 BSF Director-General Daljit Singh Chawdhary visited Jammu Frontier and declared that border posts where SI Mohammad Imteyaj and Constable Deepak Chingakham were martyred would be named in their honor. He paid tribute to the fallen soldiers, recognizing their supreme sacrifice during cross-border firing in the RS Pura sector.
The BSF Bharat Darshan Tour 2025 concluded with a vibrant ceremony at the BSF Nizamuddin facility in Delhi, where 100 students and teachers from Mizoram celebrated their enriching journey across India. Organised by the Border Security Force under the Ministry of Home Affairs, the tour aimed to promote national integration, cultural awareness, and a deeper understanding of India’s heritage. The concluding session was graced by Hon’ble MoS Home Affairs, Shri Nityanand Rai, who interacted with the students and praised BSF’s efforts in connecting border-state youth with the nation's historical and cultural legacy.
