Caught taking bribe, Dehradun patwari eats up four Rs 500 notes

In Kalsi, Dehradun, a patwari named Ghulam Haider was arrested after allegedly swallowing bribe money. He was caught red-handed by the state vigilance department while accepting Rs 2,000 for issuing domicile certificates. Haider attempted to destroy the evidence by swallowing four currency notes of Rs 500 denomination.
