Navi Mumbai airport operations to begin after monsoon, IndiGo lines up 36 flights

Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) is poised to commence passenger flights this winter, with IndiGo leading the way by operating 36 daily domestic flights connecting 15 cities. The airport, expected to decongest Mumbai airport, will initially handle 20 million passengers annually. IndiGo plans to progressively increase its flight operations, including international routes, by November 2025.
