Valmik Thapar, iconic tiger conservationist and author, passes away at 73

Thapar spent five decades advocating and protecting India’s tigers, as well as authoring books and featuring in documentaries about them. Thapar was best known for his lifelong dedication to the conservation of wild tigers, especially in Rajasthan’s Ranthambore National Park.
