Goa's health minister Vishwajit Rane initially ordered the suspension of Dr Rudresh Kurtikar at Goa Medical College and Hospital after a video went viral showing Rane confronting the doctor about patient care. However, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant intervened, assuring the public that Dr Kurtikar would not be suspended.
