In Tirupur, a 27-year-old newlywed, Ridhanya, tragically committed suicide due to relentless dowry harassment. She consumed sulphas tablets en route to a temple, leaving behind a WhatsApp voice message detailing the abuse by her husband, Kavinkumar, and his parents. Ridhanya's family had provided a substantial dowry, but the demands persisted.
