41 years on, Bhopal disaster waste incinerated

The incineration of 337 metric tons of toxic waste from the Bhopal Gas Disaster has been completed at the Treatment Storage Disposal Facility in Pithampur, marking the end of a long chapter. Hazardous waste was transported from the Union Carbide factory in Bhopal to Pithampur for incineration.
