Gurgaon was brought to a standstill on Wednesday due to a heavy monsoon downpour, with arterial routes submerged under several feet of water during rush hours. Commuters were stranded in massive traffic jams, particularly on Golf Course Extension Road, Sohna Road, and Subhash Chowk. Many vehicles stalled, leading to further congestion, and some motorists were forced to abandon their cars.
