Crackdown on Maoists: Around 200 arrested in six months, 17 killed in Jharkhand; manhunt on for 55, including top commander

Jharkhand Police are actively pursuing 55 wanted Maoists. These individuals, including top commanders, have a total bounty of Rs 8.45 crore. Authorities have intensified anti-Maoist operations across the state. So far this year, police have arrested 197 Maoists and recovered numerous weapons. The search continues to eliminate Maoist presence in the region. Ten Maoists surrendered and seventeen were killed.
