Army jawan tied to pole, beaten by toll workers on Meerut–Karnal highway; 4 arrested
Monday, 18 August 2025 () In Uttar Pradesh's Meerut, an Army jawan, Kapil Kavad, was assaulted by toll plaza workers. Kavad was en route to Delhi airport with his cousin to return to duty when the incident happened at Bhuni Toll Plaza on the Meerut–Karnal highway on Sunday night.
