Delhi records 843 mm rain this monsoon: 32% above average; August wettest since 2010 with more showers likely

Delhi's monsoon season exceeds average rainfall with 843.1 mm recorded against the normal 640.04 mm. August contributed nearly half of the total rainfall, marking it the wettest since 2010. The India Meteorological Department forecasts continued monsoon conditions for the next four days. While most of India experiences above-normal rainfall, the northeast faces a deficit.
