Avg human body temperature is no longer 36.6°C

A Stanford University study led by Dr. Julie Parsonnet challenges the long-held belief that the average body temperature of a healthy person is 36.6°C (98.6°F). Analyzing over 618,000 measurements, researchers found normal body temperature ranges between 36.2°C and 36.8°C. Improved public health and metabolic rate changes may account for the decrease.
