The world's first personalised mRNA cancer jab for melanoma is being tested on British patients. Steve Young, 52, from Stevenage, joined a clinical trial after being diagnosed with the potentially deadly form of skin cancer. Dr Heather Shaw, an investigator for the trial, said the jab had the potential to cure people with melanoma and is being tested in other cancers.
“This is one of the most exciting things we’ve seen in a really long time," she said.

A woman fatally stabbed as she pushed her baby in a pram has been identified by police as her suspected attacker remains on the run. A police manhunt is underway for Habibur Masum, 25, who is suspected of the murder of Kulsama Akter in Bradford. West Yorkshire Police Assistant Chief Constable Damien Miller said “we are doing everything we can to locate him”.

Police have named Habibur Masum, 25, in connection with the fatal stabbing of a woman in Bradford on Saturday afternoon. Officers are appealing to the public to report any sightings of Masum, who is from the Oldham area and known to the woman. Police were called to Westgate in the city centre at 3.21pm on Saturday after reports of a woman being stabbed by a man who then fled. The woman, 27, later died in hospital. Report by Jonesia.
