Tourists flee Greek island Rhodes wildfire, thousands evacuated

A wildfire on the Greek island of Rhodes that has been burning for six days prompted the evacuation of thousands of locals and tourists in coastal villages and resorts; 19,000 people were moved from their homes and hotels. More than 2,000 tourists were transported from beaches after the blaze was fanned by strong winds, causing it to reignite.
