Ukraine will get F-16 fighter jets from the Dutch and Danes after the U.S. agrees to allow transfers

The US has given approval for the Netherlands and Denmark to deliver F-16s to Ukraine, in a major gain for Kyiv, although the fighter jets are unlikely to make an impact on the war soon. Ukrainian pilots will have to undergo at least six months of training on the aircraft before the F-16s can be used in flight. Denmark will deliver some of its F-16s once it has its new F-35 fighter jets
