18 people have been killed in Iraq after a bus carrying Shiite pilgrims to Karbala overturned

Eighteen people were killed when a bus carrying pilgrims to the Iraqi city of Karbala overturned near Balad, north of Baghdad. The victims included 10 Iranians, two Iraqis, and six individuals of unknown nationality. The incident occurred as millions of believers were converging on Karbala for the annual Shiite pilgrimage of Arbaeen.
