Clashes resume between factions in Lebanon's largest Palestinian refugee camp
Friday, 8 September 2023 Clashes have erupted once again in Lebanon's largest Palestinian refugee camp, Ein el-Hilweh, resulting in the injury of at least 20 people. The fighting follows previous street battles between Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah movement and Islamist groups. The clashes were sparked by Fatah's accusation that the Islamists had killed one of their military generals.
