Foreign minister to skip UNGA, veep to attend session in New York

China is sending vice-president Han Zheng to the UN General Assembly's annual summit, the ministry of foreign affairs said Friday, suggesting that the country's most senior diplomat, Wang Yi, will not attend. This year's gathering at UN headquarters in New York starts Monday.
