Brazil's government starts expelling thousands of people from two Amazon Indigenous territories

The Brazilian government has begun removing people from two Indigenous territories in the Amazon rainforest. The goal is to return the lands to the original Indigenous peoples. The territories are located in Para state, and it is estimated that over 10,000 non-Indigenous people are living there illegally, engaging in activities such as cattle raising and gold mining.
