TikTok has responded to the EU's call to counter hate and misinformation related to the Middle East conflict. The short video app has mobilized resources and personnel to address the issue. TikTok has launched a command center, improved its detection systems, added more moderators who speak Arabic and Hebrew, and removed content that incites violence or mocks victims. TikTok stated that it stands against terrorism and is saddened by the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
