Trump to visit NYC court again in ongoing fraud trial

IndiaTimes Tuesday, 17 October 2023
Former US President Donald Trump has confirmed that he will attend the trial in Manhattan court for New York Attorney General Letitia James' $250 million lawsuit against him. Trump criticized the judge as being highly political and accused the legal system of being corrupt and broken. The case alleges that Trump exaggerated his net worth on financial documents to obtain favorable loan terms. Trump's court appearance had initially aligned with the expected testimony of his former attorney Michael Cohen, but Cohen's testimony has been delayed due to medical reasons. Trump has called the trial politically motivated.
