Governor of Maine, Janet Mills, expressed her condolences after a tragic mass shooting in Lewiston, stating that no city or state deserves such violence. The shooting took place at a bar and bowling alley, resulting in at least 18 deaths and 13 injuries. The primary suspect, Robert Card, is still at large, prompting a massive search. Schools were canceled, and residents were advised to stay indoors. President Joe Biden ordered flags to be lowered to half-staff as a mark of respect for the victims.
