Democrats express deep anxiety as polls show Biden trailing Donald Trump
Monday, 6 November 2023 White House officials are dismissing recent polling that shows President Joe Biden trailing former president Donald Trump in key swing states. Democrats, however, are expressing concerns about Biden's chances in the 2024 election. The polling from The New York Times and Siena College found Biden losing to Trump in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, and Pennsylvania. Biden's team emphasized that polls taken a year ahead of time have historically failed to predict election results.
