Major Iranian-backed militant group vows to expand conflict if US airstrikes continue

A major Iranian-backed militant group in Iraq, Kataib Hezbollah, has warned that it may launch further strikes against US targets. This comes after US warplanes killed multiple militants in response to the group's first use of short-range ballistic missiles against US forces at Al-Asad Air Base. The US airstrikes targeted Kataib Hezbollah operations centers, and while it is unclear if anyone was killed, militia officials claim eight members died.
