1,30,000 litres of fuel, 200 aid trucks to enter Gaza daily during pause: Egypt

Egypt announces ceasefire and agreement for the entry of aid trucks and fuel into Gaza. The deal involves the release of Israeli hostages by Hamas and the release of Palestinian prisoners. The ceasefire is mediated by Egypt and Qatar. Aid trucks carrying food, water, medical equipment, and relief supplies have entered Gaza. Fuel deliveries have also been permitted to support critical services. The aid delivery mechanisms of the IDF are deemed insufficient for the required increase.
