One killed, 21 injured in suicide blast in northwest Pakistan

A TTP-splinter faction carried out a suicide bombing in Pakistan's turbulent Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, resulting in the death of one individual and the injury of 21, including 13 security personnel. The attack occurred as an explosives-laden tri-wheeler targeted a security forces convoy en route from North Waziristan district to Bannu near Azad Mandi in Bannu Cantonment on Sunday, according to police sources. The condition of three security personnel is stated to be critical, according to the police.
