US shoots down drones fired by Yemen's Houthis in Red Sea

The USS Carney, a U.S. Navy destroyer, successfully intercepted and shot down three drones in the Red Sea. These drones were part of attacks on three commercial vessels in international waters, according to the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM). The targeted vessels had connections to 14 nations, including the UK. The USS Carney, an Arleigh-Burke Class destroyer, responded to distress calls from the ships and intercepted an anti-ship ballistic missile fired from a Houthi-controlled area.
