UN report deplores 'rapid deterioration' of rights in West Bank

A UN report published on Thursday deplored the rapid deterioration of human rights in the Israeli-occupied West Bank and called for an end to violence against Palestinians. The report revealed that 300 Palestinians have been killed in the West Bank since Oct 7, with most deaths occurring during Israeli security operations. The report also highlighted settler violence and called on Israel to investigate all incidents of violence by settlers and security forces. Additionally, the report documented mass arbitrary detentions, unlawful detentions, and cases of reported torture and ill-treatment of Palestinian detainees.
