Pakistan experiences nationwide internet outage, social media blackout; PTI's manifesto launch disrupted

Pakistan-based Dawn reported a complete blackout of social media sites in Pakistan, affecting PTI's plans to launch its manifesto and raise funds through a telethon. This incident is the second disruption of PTI's online events in recent months. Despite the challenges, PTI managed to host a portion of the online event on YouTube, collecting USD 44,000 and PKR 30 million. PTI reiterated its dedication to achieving its goals for the country despite the internet outage.
