Two UN troops among four injured in DRC rebel attacks

On Friday, suspected M23 rebels reportedly targeted a UN helicopter, resulting in injuries to two South African peacekeepers in the volatile eastern region of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DR Congo). Concurrently, an explosive device detonated in a major city, causing injuries to two others. Bintou Keita, the head of the UN's MONUSCO peacekeeping mission, vehemently denounced the attack.
