US appeals court rules 'Citizen Trump' does not have immunity from criminal charges

On Tuesday, a federal appeals court delivered a unanimous ruling stating that Donald Trump is not entitled to immunity from criminal charges pertaining to his actions aimed at overturning the results of the 2020 election. The three-judge panel expressed that they "cannot accept that the office of the Presidency places its former occupants above the law for all time thereafter.”
