NLC India Green Energy signs PPA for solar power project with GUVNL
Wednesday, 6 March 2024 NLC India Green Energy Limited (NIGEL), the green arm of NLC India Limited, has signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) for a 600 MW Solar Power Project. The project, located in Khavda Solar Park, Gujarat, aims to generate 1,577.88 million units of electricity annually and offset 35.5 million metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions.
