An American pastor, Josh Sullivan, was rescued by South African police after being kidnapped in Gqeberha. A high-intensity shootout left three suspects dead at the safe house where he was held.Sullivan, miraculously unharmed, had been abducted from his church in Eastern Cape.
The missionary and father of two had served in South Africa since 2018.
