A legislator from the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen party has been arrested over the alleged manhandling of a doctor at the hospital.
The MLA's supporters allegedly attacked the doctor over delay in discharge of two patients.
The incident happened even as India's healthcare infrastructure is under pressure due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
