Ace choreographer Saroj Khan passed away at the age of 71 in Mumbai on July 03. She was admitted to hospital on June 20 after she complained of breathing issues. She died due to a cardiac arrest in the ICU of Guru Nanak Hospital. The last rites of Saroj Khan will be performed at Malvani in Malad. She has given various hit choreographies including, 'Dola Re Dola', 'Dhak Dhak Karne Laga' and 'Ek Do Teen'.
On June 28, in an exclusive interview with Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Asian New International (ANI) Editor Smita Prakash held conversation on several key issues amid COVID-19 situation in the country. Speaking on the preparations in Delhi amid rising cases, HM said, "On Jun14, there were 9937 COVID19 beds in Delhi. 30,000 beds will be available by June 30. 8000 beds are available in railway coaches, 8000 more are being added. Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope on June 26 said the state government is procuring important anti-viral drugs and increasing their stock in each district to ensure availability. "A resolution has been passed in the Cabinet for availing the services of PG final year medical students in ICU wards," said Tope. "COVID-19 cases are expected to rise during July and August but we are working to ensure that the fatality rate does not go up. We are increasing the number of doctors and ICU beds in the state to meet the demand," he added.

Dozens of people gather in Marble Arch in London in a All Black Lives Matter protest. The demonstrators walked from Hyde Park to Downing Street through Oxford street, in protest of racial inequality and police brutality. The group, mainly arranged by young people, are calling on the Government to commit to an end to racial discrimination in the criminal justice system, de-colonize the education system, commit to end racial disparities in the health system and implement recommendations made by MPs in reviews such as the Windrush Lessons Learnt report, Lammy Review, Timpson Review and Angiolini Review.
