To help lesson the chance or impact of a second COVID-19 wave experts say to continue practices like social distancing, wearing a mask in public, hand-washing, and staying home if you're sick.
The impact also depends on how widely accessible testing is and when an effective vaccine is developed.
Experts, including Fauci, have predicted that the vaccine won't be until 2021.
