Social distancing and precautions of wearing a mask were flouted in Banda, Sagar district as a large crowd gathered to welcome Jain Monk Pramansagar.

The Jain monk had reached Sagar district along with his 20 followers.

A  large number of people took to the streets to welcome him, completely flouting norms of social distancing.

Police have now ordered an investigation into the incident.
