Clouds of thick smoke poured from a chemical factory in Ankleshwar, western India on May 19 after flammable solvents and barrels caught fire.

More than 12 fire brigades battled to extinguish the flames and after five hours they eventually managed to control the blaze.

There was no reports of any casualties.
