Forest dept appoints 3 teams for probe: Kerala Forest Minister on killing of pregnant elephant

While speaking to media in Thiruvananthapuram on June 05, the Minister of Forests, Animal Husbandry and Zoos in Kerala, Advocate K Raju spoke on killing of a pregnant elephant in Palakkad.

He said, "The forest department has appointed three teams for investigation.

Police is also investigating the matter.

Strict action will be taken so that similar incident is not repeated." "One accused has also been arrested in connection with death of the pregnant elephant in Palakkad," Kerala Forest Minister added.
