But in light of the novel coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, how comfortable will people be having casual sex with veritable strangers now?

While the virus has been found in the semen of some COVID-19 patients, there’s currently no evidence that it can be transmitted this way.

But because sex typically involves close physical contact, partners are at risk for contracting or spreading the virus.

According to HuffPost, although some people are putting their sex lives on ice, others are carrying on as usual.

If you're opting to remain active, ask your partner if they have COVID-19 or have been exposed to it.
