The ladies of the fitness factor are excited to announce one of the newest additions to the gym, virtual options.

If you're not ready to come back into the gym yet, that's okay, call the fitness factor today to add this to your membership.

Beth jeffers: good morning.

Welcome to get fit friday.

I'm beth jeffers joined here at the fitness factor with whitney brown.

Whitney brown: good morning.

Beth jeffers: we're glad to see you again.

And in this covid time, things in the fitness industry obviously changed quite a bit as far as inside and we also added more options just in general as an industry.

And one of the biggest options that i think that, i guess, a lot of us were missing out on was the virtual option.

And we're excited that we've started adding a virtual option- whitney brown: right.

Beth jeffers: -to our memberships because there's people that aren't ready to come back to the gym.

Whitney brown: sure.

Beth jeffers: and there are people of course, that some people are shy to come into a gym.

Whitney brown: yeah, it's a really great way to stay fit at home.

You have a lot of flexibility there.

Now you are missing the comradery and the community- beth jeffers: yes.

Whitney brown: -that a gym offers as well as the equipment options, but it's a great supplement to your workout.

So what we've been doing here at the fitness factor is offering our members, and we had a trial period where they could try everything.

We have a plan laid out for them.

We have full length classes.

We have live training sessions.

We have live wellness coaching sessions that have been really fine, and you're just able to interact as a community but you're online.

Whitney brown: so it's been a great option for people, like you said, that maybe aren't ready to come back to the gym or that just like to have that flexibility to say, "oh, i overslept this morning.

I can do this workout when i get home after work."

So it's really nice to have that option.

And i encourage you that if your gym is doing that, ask them about it.

See if they've got any virtual programming options and if they don't, ours is open to nonmembers as well.

Beth jeffers: and i think that whitney's actually in charge of our virtual memberships and all the classes, are you seeing ... do you do a mix of classes or how is that actually done?

Whitney brown: right.

I like to provide a variety for people because everybody's at a different level.

They're at a different fitness level, they've got different limitations, and they just like different things.

So we provide a lot of options.

Some are self paced, some are totally guided by a trainer.

So there's a lot of different options for different levels.

Low intensity, high intensity, cardio days, strength days.

There's really a great balance.

It's been so much fun.

Oh, and mind-body.

We've got that to because stress relief is very important.

So pilates, yoga, it's all in the mix.

Beth jeffers: i think it's a really neat way to go to the gym at your home.

Of course, like whitney said, we love for you to come to the gym, get the camaraderie.

But it's another, it's a plan b too.

Whitney brown: absolutely.

Beth jeffers: and a plan b plus so that you can add it to your membership.
