Water level recedes in Brahmaputra river

Water level is gradually receding in Brahmaputra river amid flood conditions in parts of Assam.

Water level had crossed danger-mark by 8 cm in the river.

"Water level is currently at 49.52, the level is expected to further go down," said Sadiqul Haq, Central Water Commission official.
