The water level of Brahmaputra River continues to rise in Assam's Guwahati.

Districts in Assam have been battered by floods due to incessant rainfall.

While speaking to ANI, the official of Central Water Commission (CWC), Jitu Moni Das said, "Water is flowing 8 cm above danger level.

Water level is rising by 2 cm per hour."
