Locals attack cops in Bihar's Muzaffarpur with 'lathis' and stones
The cops of Sakra Police Station have been attacked by locals in Bihar's Muzaffarpur district on August 06.
Locals had blocked National Highway-28 and attacked the police personnel with lathis and stones.
3 police personnel were injured in the incident and have been admitted in hospital for medical treatment.
12 accused have been arrested in this regard.
While speaking to media, SSP of Muzaffarpur, Jayant Kant said, "When police reached the spot where few locals had blocked highway under Sakra police station limits, they were attacked by the locals with lathis and stones were pelted at police." "3 police personnel were injured.
12 accused have been arrested," he added.
