After the Centre's decision to go ahead with medical and engineering entrance exams amid Covid-19 came under criticism from some quarters, Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said the decision was taken because parents and students wanted it.
Precautions will be taken during exams to minimize risk of infection in students appearing for these crucial entrances.
